MaFLA 1999 Poster Contest Winners

Theme - World Languages: Creating Global Links

This year 60 schools participated in the Poster Contest .  Although there was low participation at the elementary level, there was more at the post secondary.   Students demonstrated a lot of talent, with a particularly strong showing from the western part of the state.  The winning posters are shown below.  We look forward to next year and another exciting contest.

Look in the May/June issue of the Newsletter for the list of entries which received honorable mentions. These posters will also be on display at the Fall Conference in Sturbridge on October 29 and 30, 1999.
